Brookline Police Department

Officer Robert Mayer 

Officer Robert Mayer is always willing to respond and talk to people and listens to what is being said getting the various accounts from those involved. Officer Mayer can be empathetic to individuals and their situations. He genuinely cares and wants to see individuals from the community who are struggling to advocate for themselves ultimately get the housing and sense of security they deserve in the community they grew up in and where they want to remain because they feel safe.

Dedham Police Department

Officer John Rinn

Officer John Rinn maintains a calm demeanor when interacting with members of our community. He listens and expresses concern for the well-being of individuals while encouraging those in need to seek help while on patrol and responding to calls of service. Officer Rinn was trained on the Critical Incident Management System which allows for the tracking, information sharing, and mapping of overdose deaths, saves and at-risk persons between Norfolk County police departments.

Medway Police Department

Sergeant William White

Sergeant William White exemplifies the guardian mentality by taking care of difficult situations and going far beyond a typical well-being check to locate the individual in crisis. Chief Kingsbury has nominated Sergeant White to receive the 2023 Excellence in CIT Commendation for his work as a Medway Police Officer.

Sharon Police Department

Officer Allan Greenfield

Officer Allan Greenfield and Officer Max Simon responded to a distraught/suicidal male. Officer Greenfield began communicating and tried to de-escalate the situation. After about 30 minutes, the distraught male agreed to get some help. Barnstable Police Lieutenant Michael Clark was with the male's family, listening to the incident unfold. Lt. Clark reached out to Chief Coffey to praise when he had heard and how Officer Greenfield and Officer Simon were able to de-escalate the Situation. Both officers received a Chief's Award from Chief Stephen Coffey.

Officer Max Simon

Wellesley Police Department

Officer Matt Wall

Officer Matt Wall is dedicated to the CIT mission. As the SRO at Wellesley High School, has ample opportunity to use and develop his skills while learning best practices. Officer Wall has shown a willingness to collaborate with the Department's mental health clinician. He has arranged and attended meetings with students, parents, and the clinician to address mental health needs. Officer Wall has advocated for the students as well as supported the parents in creating a workable plan to address the issues at hand. He brings a wealth of knowledge and information to the department.

Wellesley Police Department

Officer Glen Misho

Officer Glen Misho has a keen interest in CIT matters and is always willing to learn more about mental health issues and best practices in addressing them. Thoughtful and methodical in his approach, Officer Misho is able to quickly assess for safety, supports, and next steps, while providing a calm and caring demeanor that helps to put residents at ease. His consistency ensures that the residents of Wellesley are not only safe but that they are getting the best care. Thorough, knowledgeable, curious, consistent, caring, and engaged, Officer Misho has exhibited the qualities of an excellent CIT trained officer
